What applies to you?

Valentine's Day is for:

1) getting some action
2) making you spend a ton of money on useless red and pink things
3) showing your intent to get some action in the near future
4) getting a guilt trip about how unromantic you've been for most of the year before and then making you pay for it in flowers, candy, etc.
5) making it a day/night to celebrate your love
6) feeling lonely because you have no valentine
7) feeling glad you have no valentine because you get to spend your money on video gear.
8) wearing your "bedroom clothes" (boxers with hearts? lingerie, etc.)
9) having an excuse to stroll through Victoria Secrets, Fredricks because you might buy something. And then putting your hand on the mannequin's bum.
10) breaking up with someone because you realize they are not your valentine and never want them to be.
11) getting a sugar high off of conversation hearts and other junky sweets.
12) collecting on nice jewelry you'd otherwise not get a a regular day.
13) not collecting on nice jewelry and then using the excuse of not getting nice jewelry to buy yourself more imaging toys ( video, photo, computer, whatnot)

I love to see people buying the "goods" food, flowers, underwear, etc. can be hilarious...

I think it means his Valentine's Day includes frequent use of a defibrillator. :D
BTW, Little Miss Valentine, I hope you got a heart-shaped box of chocolates to use in your February DVXfest entry. :)

I'm none of the above as well. I live with my girlfriend of 2+ years, but both of us hate Valentine's Day, so we spent the night watching horror movies and drinking (much like most nights).

hmm..havent' thought of an entry..maybe later this spring?

I didn't get any heart shaped box of chocolates, but gave one to my boyfriend, so of course I get to help out. I only stole one piece today. that is self control!

I did get chocolate covered strawberries and a jar of dipping chocolate. that is heavenly. mmmm

Ate sushi with my roomates who also did not have valentine's day dates. Had some beers and played video games all night.
