Im really like the Rockit 5s and for the price they cant be beat, and they cool. I was suprised the toshiba came with s-video and composites for being a small tv.

I have an old pair of original KRK K-roks and the 5's and I find using the 5's (and a JBL sub) leads to mixes that translate better on a wider variety of end user speakers. I want to add some Mackie 824's though.

Apple G4, two monitors, headphones on top of the monitor. My 1 chip sits on a stickypod now infront of that monitor on the left. (That's my deck). I have a third monitor off to the left (a TV/VCR set up) and my Powerbook G3 for writing and surfing the net (which I'm using now). My next purchase will probably be a Macbook 15 inch with Superdrive and one of those editing mouses.

I also have a full-sized black and gray Casio keyboard like DammitJanet's, which I bought off ebay for $38. It would've been impressive but just didn't make it into the shot. :) DammitJanet your set up is so sweet. I mean how clean and uncramped it is. I have one of those phantom powered studio mics around here somewhere that I run through the small camera and do vocal stuff through.

Not sure why my pic just doesn't show up like everyone elses but click the link to see it. My workspace is a little cluttered in the pic!

You think yours is cluttered. You haven't seen mine on a bad day. I'm putting a feature together right now and I love it. I'm a FCP fan and I use a Mac G4 Dual 1 gig with 1.5 gigs of memory. Editing is so much fun. I'm hoping to get a G5 laptop this year and later on move up to a G5 Desktop. Tomorrow I have to look into a midi to USB adapters. Once my keyboard is up and running my system is pretty much complete until I move into HDV editing.

Okay, here's my new setup. After several years on a sweet, sweet Wal-Mart desk, I've upgrade to this Ikea wangus. The whole shebang -- desk, extra top shelf, drawers, four swing-out shelves, cable guides -- was $350 with tax. I'm very happy about that. Still haven't put everything on it that's going on it, but that's par for the course.
