Post or not to post.

I have a short film I've completed recently. I need everyone opinion if I should post it on DVX or (any website) for that matter. I want a lot of people to see it.. and review it. But, I hear if you do this you loose eligibility to show it in certain film festivals. Is this true?

Or would it be better to show it to film festival only? Would I "connect" to more people this way?
I just want to do what is best for my actors, and my little film.

If you're concerned about it not qualifying for festivals, then I would post a topic about the film and mention that you will only show it "privately" to the first 10 or more people who reply. Then send a PM link to the video to the people who want to see it. That way you're only "sharing" it to a select group. People have done that before and it seems to work well.
