POST FX questions...

Hey everyone...

I haven't done a lot of Post FX editing, and I was just wondering what the best way to approach the process is? Lets imagine you are doing a green screen driving scene. Do you want to edit the scene together? Output it and then green screen the entire scene? Or do you want to output each angle separately, Apply the effect and then edit it together after?

Thanks for any info.

Edit the scene first. You don't want to waste to wast time doing fx for shots that don't make it in the edit. After that group all the fx shots that are similar angles so when fx are done they look consistant.

Don't render from your NLE to get the shots into your effects software. Instead, learn how to use EDLs. The less you render, the better your shots will look
