Hi guys...

Could do with a bit of advice here please.

I have a series of locked off shots and I'm thinking of enlarging the shot in basic motion, then key-framing the centre to produced a slow tracking/dollie type shot.

It seems to work fine but I was just wondering if anyone else has done this and has come across problems, artifacts, lines blurs etc before I use this technique throughout the film.

Thanks

Indy

Kinda of depends how far you're zooming in and what sort of footage- progressive vs. interlace. A little of this goes a long way.

Hi Noah..

I shot HVX200 DVC pro HD 1920 X 1080 progressive

and I'm only going from 100 to 120 in the enlarging (basic motion) over mmmm average 5-9 second clip so it is very slow in terms of movement.

A friend of mine created that effect by using Motion 3. He used the 3D camera to dolly in or dolly out of shots that originally were static non zooming shots.

Not sure if that is what you were asking.
