Post a photo - Part 1

Hey Wade, which 15mm fisheye did you use? It looks much less distorted than my 15mm fisheye.

It was the Canon EOS 15mm fisheye.

Are you shooting digital or film? If digital, which camera?

I shoot with a Canon 10D digital SLR and yes, the image doesn't look as distorted as you would expect. My understanding is that because the CMOS sensor (frame of 'film') in the digital camera isn't as large as an actual frame of 35mm film, the image is different. I believe it makes it more equivalent to maybe like an 18 or 19mm fisheye lens...someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Wade - You are correct. I'm not sure what the crop is on the 10D. I have the 20D which has a 1.6 crop so that would make the 15mm fisheye a 24mm wide angle on my camera.

Sorry in advance for not having my exposure on hand, these are some pics of Paris obviously. I was very fortunate, i'm doing an internship and they brought me with them.

ah wade, I forgot about the 10D crop. That explains it. I'm shooting the 1Ds full frame sensor, so it's much wider/distorted:

Find a server to host your photo and then just post the link here (use the little mountain and sun icon). That's it.
Why is it that I don't have these icons? Used to, before the board make-over. I would love to post some pics if I could figure this out.

Super - Go to UserCP / Edit Options / at the very bottom under Misc Options click on Enhanced Interface.
Now go back to your post and click on "Go Advanced" and you should see it.

Thanks Sirius. That was pretty easy. I should have asked a long time ago!

Took these a couple of months ago. Canon Rebel TI. I'm new to the whole photography thing. These were the first "arty" pictures I ever took. Don't know if they are any good. Hopefully will improve with practice.

Showing up as links, don't know why. Sorry.

Hmmm, me neither. They were.

God, I hate technology.

EDIT: I changed my settings from "Private" to "Public". Maybe that'll do something. If not, I'll try to figure it out in the morning.

Super - links are dead. Also, for the images to show up you have to post the link to the photo, not the page the photo is on. So your url is going to end in .jpg, not .html

thanks kai, the this is not a photo op wasnt added in post i literally just came across it. it was pretty surprising. i played with the brightness and contrast a little in the tomb shot.
