If I want to project the same image on two screens, can I split the HDMI signal coming out of a DVD player or Blu-Ray player? I can't find anything useful on Google (just very expensive IO boxes), and wondered if some of you had come across economical hardware that would allow for this (I don't want to use two DVD players due to synching issues).
Thanks for any thoughts!
EDIT: Okay, sorry for a new thread. More searching revealed a solution I think. For $50 I can get an HDMI amplifier/splitter. Seemed that a simple wire-split would not deliver enough signal strength for two monitors. We'll see if the quality of this powered unit is sufficient--the price is right anyhow.
