portrait mode...

hello,

i was wondering how one, who shot footage in portrait mode (with the camera tilted to it's side), could export from FCP with the footage being in portrait mode.

basically, i'm looking for an aspect of 9:16, not 16:9.

i'm pretty sure to edit, everything will be on it's side, but i want the end product to be vertical. do i have to do that with compressor or can i just do that with QTpro?

In comp settings, go to custom and input your width/height parameters, then rotate the video to fit it.

thanks... so it's compressor... i try to get away without using it as much as i can, but i guess this is why it's here.

damnit, i love digital video!

this is pretty cool... i like how they use the D90 and shuck it's "video" to use the stills... very nice.
