We've made a portable power unit, but it's probably too expensive and not powerful enough for your requirements:

The unit is an autonomous, compact power supply, capable of delivering 300W of pure sine 110V for one hour. It includes a high-capacity NiMH celled battery pack, a pure sine inverter and a battery charger. Weighs about 19 lbs or 8.5 kg.
A much cheaper way would be to get a GEL Battery (marine or otherwise, 12V) and buy a cheap inverter. Since that probably won't be pure sine though, you won't be able to run everything off it, especially highly electronic stuff.
