'portable' harddrive?

I am in need of a 'portable' firewire 800 harddrive. I have looked all over (newegg, tigerdirect, circuitcity, bestbuy, compusa) and can't find one. I guess I'm thinking of something else but I just want a relyiable firewire800 drive that I can take with me. The last time I had an external drive that I traveled with it ended up not working. I have seen a few, but are they portable? Like this one, this one, and here. I just want a drive that is at least 100GB at 7200rpm (capturing video), and has firewire 800 for under $200. I guess my first problem is the price. But I know someone here can help me out.

I have the iomega drive, the one i have is 400gb though. i have dragged it around with me everywhere, desert, maui, up and down california about 100 times, still working just fine, guess i have had it about a year. Not sure what you mean by "portable" you do have to plug it in to use it, so you will need power, but I have run it in the car with a power converter. Haven't had any problems with it yet, it is constantly used for editing.
good luck!

thanks guys. from what i gather i just need a good external drive. i thought that there might be a difference between a regular external drive and a "portable" one. i wasn't exactly sure whether it was pertinent to pack up just any old drive and go. i know apple has some, but everyone says LaCia doesn't make very reliable drives... but i guess since apple backs them they have to be pretty good. thanks again guys i appreciate the help.

every lacie drive i have ever had has been solid. lacie doesn't even make drives, they only make enclosures. the drive will be seagate or ibm or something. i have one of the 250gb fw 400/800 ones and i take it all over the place with no probs. if you get the d2 series and have multiples, they can be attached together and rackmounted. kind of a cool feature.
