Portable hard drive question

[JitCam]

hey everybody, is there just a regular portable hard drive which can be used with the hvx for simply transfering your footage off the p2 card? I'm not talking about actual shooting onto the hard drive, just a regular transfer option. A friend of mine who is a photographer has a small portable drive which he uses to empty his flash memory too, would something like that work with the HVX?

thanx

Yes, you can either use a firewire hard disk or a USB On-The-Go hard disk.

Ok, thanks Barry!

For a while now, and with all the hard drive talk i thought drives like citidisk and firestore where the only options.

anyway, i would think an on-the-go hard drive would be a good option for shooting on p2 in the field ..then transfering straight to the drive and continue shooting.
