Poor quality after editing in FCPX

Hello.


I import my .mts AVCHD files to FCPX (and they are perfectly in focus). After applying a few filters and exporting them, they look a little soft and with a lower quality, compared to the originals. Is it because I edit with proxy media? This is what I guess, I just want to be sure.

Yes. Proxy is around a quarter the size of Optimised.
If you edit the Timeline using Proxy and export without switching back the export is at the Proxy lower res settings.
