Pontypool

[Luis Caffesse]

Surprised there is no thread on this film here yet.

It's on Netflix Streaming, and for those members interested in low budget, limited location films this is a great one to watch.
3 principal characters (though there are other cast members) and one main location.

I don't want to say too much about the story - other than I found it interesting.
As long as you're willing to go with it, it's a fun ride.

Check it out.

I have watched this twice and agree; it is captivating and a fun ride. A great creepy cold atmosphere.

Great movie. I saw it when it first came out and fell in love with it right away.

Love the nod to Snow Crash too.

[Egg Born Son]

Really enjoyed this one. A randome DVD purchase that worked out quite well.

I have watched this twice and agree;

Anything that can get you to watch it more than once is an achievement.

Another one I recently caught up on. Nothing like I expected. Didn't quite hit the highs as some have suggested but for an exercise in low-budget filmmaking, it was a great effort.

Don't forget it's Canadian! This past decade has seen a very good turn out of good horror films from Canada. Pretty excited about that.
