Good point. i forgot that people wear more blue clothing than green. LOL. Green it will be. Thanks Mikko!

Now what about material? I'm thinking that I could actually save myself a lot of trouble and do seamless paper deal. It also costs less and, correct me if I'm wrong, should be a lot less reflective. I'd also look into doing a fabric setup with the same premise, creating a seamless wall. I might avoid paint just because of the hassle.

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Anyone wanna challenge this before I go for paper over anything else?

Caution: Seamless paper will 'pucker' and create dimples when moisture and humidity get to it. I would go for paint - although, it doesn't have to be Rosco®. Just go to Home Depot or Lowe's, pick a cheap paint, and pick a color that is close to the green bar on color bars.

Thought: Maybe you could use paper on just the "sweep" portion where your wall meets the floor. It would be a long horizontal strip with masking tape holding it to the surfaces. Paint could be applied to the tape and/or paper if necessary.

I'd go with paint also. If you think paint is a pain in the ass, you've never worked with paper. It's a nightmare.

Did you end up painting it Pink?

Was looking for Cheap Bluescreen Recommendations and somehow came across this thread.

Though I seen no images of your artistic skills, discusting Mr Kholi. Shame on you.

Orange will be dificult to key from skin, as skin is rather orange.

It's generally best to stick to one of the primary colors of light. As there is a lot of Red in skin, it leaves Blue and Green. Green is generally less compressed in video, but your final color choice also depends on if the foreground might contain one of the foreground colors. (If you want to shoot Superman in his blue cape, then you'd need a green screen :) )

Sorry Mikko but Superman wore a red cape :P

How high are your ceilings? What kind of bounce are you looking at?

Lighting an apartment wall evenly and having enough separation between
your talent and the screen is critical. The whole point is to match the
lighting on your fg element and whatever bg element you're comping
into.

Hehe.. green wall in and apt is great if you're gonna comp a guy from one
apartment, into a different apartment :)

Funny this thread popped back up!

I'm actually going with a darker crimson color for my room-turned-editing-bay. Gonna build a platform and put in a comfy "client" couch because I wanna be pretentious.
