After a long time of hard work and tons of questions, answers reading forums, etc. i finally have my 35mm adapter with a few lenses.

Does anyone want to see a vid tut that talks you threw the steps of getting an adapter. newbies obvisouly. im taking a poll cause i dont want to waste my time, but if it will help its worth it so others that come after me dont go through as much headache as i did.

I love my m2 by the way..

*raises hand high in the air*

yes, i'm a photography n00b that you talk about and i know next to nothing about lenses/adapters etc but i'm in the market for buying one, purely from seeing some of the amazing footage on this forum.

I am hesitant in making the purchase as i'm not sure which is the best for me.

I'm torn between the sgPro and the Redrock M2. I'm in the UK, shoot 25P, have access to a friend's Nikon lenses, and i shoot all kinds-shorts,docs,music vids, training vids.

What do i do?

Definitely by the Sgpro, it's sharper than the M2. It's also cheaper. The only advantage the M2 has is its cooler looks.

ok thanks, but is that the generally accepted opinion that the sgpro is the sharper of the 2 adapters? have you seen both in action?

i petitioned to have a 35 adapter forum started, i was gonna write up how to's and everythign... but no word from the brass.

what do u think of my tut so far. is it on track. im taking some info from your write up i believe...

That would be awesome

i think thats cool of you to do, but putting the joke nomination in the poll could have skewed a more serious poll. granted its only 2 votes, those 2 votes can not be re voted to what the voter may really would have decided and can no longer vote.

Your video looks good so far. IMO if i was you i would stay away for opinion and only put facts. It will save you from alot of fights. Also so it doesnt turn into some type of adapter war.

If you do it you have a lot of work ahead of you. :) Just remember to be impartial. When it comes to adapters there has been alot of truth and bull all mixed up together. Everyone thinks theirs is the best even though i havent seen a real test yet. i think its because there is no best.

Good luck and i would like to tell you my adapter is the best. just so you know, lol

I think this is great idea. After watching the video on Youtube I noticed in the right column that there was one of my related videos on Depth of Filed Tests.

I agree with what people are saying in regards to keeping impartial, Stick to the facts sort of thing. Don't pic a side even if you have one. I'm sure this project will also make you a stronger Video/Film creator as well. So, Once again GREAT IDEA. I wish I had someone lay it all out there for me before I made my purchases.

yes, that was just a pracitce run.. but thankks. thats what i figured. help all those coming after me to make a good purchase and understand what it takes. make a 35mm forum

hey guys i finished the tut. its pretty good for my first one. i want to upload it for the best quality, but im afraid ill go over my bandwith on my server #1 its about 7 minutes long so i want it to be decent file size. better than you tube....

what compression settings will get me the best. thanks hope you find it informative. i exported it now as a high quality avi file until the recompression.

hey guys, here is a roguh draft. maybe some experts can help me out a little and advise. im limited with time so i can still make a few changes. hope this helps some people out.

i cant keep it up there to long for bandwidth reasons, so first come first serve. thanks
