Polaroid 144 vs CN-160

I own a larger version of the Polaroid led light, and believe I have used the neewer type light before. The Neewer brand has a terrible terrible cold shoe mount made of plastic. They do give you a little cold shoe nub adapter with a thread mount to slide on the light fixture itself, but it still seems pretty insecure. The small Polaroid looks to also have plastic cold shoe mounts on the body itself too. I would be careful of that.

My Polaroid accepts Sony batteries, but the neewer can also do AA's as well. Can't say for sure which outputs more though.
