Can someone recommend a good brand for a polarizer filter?

I am interested in buying one for an upcoming shoot.

Also, how does it attach to the DVX? Like the Anamorphic adapter? or does it just screw on the front somehow?

I know(or have heard) you can get a polarizer for a matte box.. but I won't have access to a matte box.. any insights?

Any recommendation on getting a Circular Polarizer vs non-circular?

I don't ever use Auto-Focus, but who knows..

are there any advantages? and any particular brands I should avoid for this?

I use a CAVISION 4x4 mattebox that has a rotating tray for filters.
The reason this is recomended *especially for pola* is that to get the most out of the filter you need to be able to easily rotate it to find the idea angle - the round filters are awkward to get at to rotate (even with the factory mattebox).  It is also ideal to have a mattebox when using filters because the chance of lens flare is greatly reduced.

When you add a dark fliter such as a pola, it is more likely to react badly to stray light hitting it.  The more sheilded inside a mattebox you are, the better.
