polarizer+ ana lens

I was wondering what size thread is infront of the anamorphic lens to screw mount thread a polarizer?

Barry's right, you need to use a mattebox in front of the anamorphic adapter to make best use of a polarizer. I have "rigged" a solution once or twice with my LA7200; I just put the polarizer in a filter holder (I used a 4" x 5.65") and carefully gaff taped it to the lens hood of the adapter after finding the correct rotation.

Not the most elegant solution, but it worked.

i kinda figured what size did you use for your rigged up solution i ask cuz i have a 105mm polarizer now and id hate to have to buy another one.

I too have done the same as KHmuse... not very pretty either :P

105mm polariser is circular? sounds so. The 4" x 5.65" is a square (rectangle) pl .
 
A 4" x 5.65" is a standard rectangular Panavision size. You might be able to use a 4" x 4" as well if your are not too wide, same goes for a 105mm round.
