I went to go see this on New Years Day and I loved it! (My choices were Point Break and Star Wars. I chose Point Break) I've always been a fan of the original so when I heard they were remaking it, I wasn't sure what to expect. This is probably one of the best remakes I've ever seen. It was new, fresh, different, but also had some nice throwbacks to the original. I loved the new storyline and the extreme sports were breathtaking. It felt authentic too. Parkour is main sport (which isn't in the film), however I also snowboard and rock climb and so I was watching close to see how those were portrayed and they did a solid job. Anyone else get a chance to see it?
