I've never really ventured into this area until now.
Im going to be making a few podcast but dont really know a thing about making one, editing wise.
Im using fcp4.5hd so if any one would be kind enough to point me in the right direction or explaining the workflow and such to prepapring one i would greatly appriciate it.
Thanks!

ooop's.
My fault for not being to clear, but i meant to say VIDEO podcast.
Dont know if the links above still apply, but thank you so much.

It all still applies. Those links are great places for info on podcasting, ooops I mean Video Podcasting. Vlogging or Vblogs, whatever you wanna call it. The podcastrigs site is more on the audio side but you can find very useful info on how to configure your audio set-up, unless you are planning to do a podcast without sound! And then podcastalley has tons of info and links on how to get started.

Also check out Podcasting for Dummies (both the book AND the free podcast). Season Two has three tutorials on some basic video tricks (full disclosure: I host 'em, but I'm not associated w/PfD in any other way, other than some of my stuff was used as example material in the second volume).

What you really want to know about, I'll wager, is compression settings and RSS feeds (the engine that drives podcast). Google can help, but I also highly recommend the PfD book - Tee Morris goes into a lot of detail about how to get your podcast going, what to do with it once you have it, and a lot more.

Good luck -
Earl
