PNG Sequence Problems

I'm trying to export a PNG animated sequence out of CS5.5 AfterEffects. It's a layer that has an animated object done in a masked solid layer. I want to make a PNG sequence that preserves the transparent alpha background, but when I render the sequence all I get is a series of totally black frames. The frames look fine as I scroll through the comp but all I get is black in the render. I can find no "preserve transparency" choice in the PNG render settings.

Anyone have a clue?
