In my Plugin Folder I can see 12 Plugin Effects however in FCP I only see 2 of them. Why is this?

I'm sure this isn't the case, but I've got to ask. Was FCP open when you installed the effects? And did you close and reopen FCP afterward?
I've got several sets of effects and filters in my Plugins folder and they all show in FCP, granted some appear in filters, some in transitions and others in generators. I had FCP open when I installed one set, I don't recall which one right now, and I had to close and reopen FCP before they showed up. That's why I asked the earlier question.

I had some trouble some time back with all of my FCP 4.5 third-party plugins suddenly disappearing. Found out that is was from one bad plugin that ruined it for all of them. I think I accidentally installed an After Effects only plugin in the FCP plugin folder.
Anyway, I did process of elimination and took out all the third-party plugins from the plugin folder and replaced them a few at a time while restarting FCP each time. Eventually, I found the culprit. Hope that helps.

Yea for some reason they are spread out! I saw a bunch of them when I was doing some color correcting...However when I was doing regular editing I only saw 2 of the 12 plugins
