Plug ins lost

Hoping for help. Had to wipe drives. Reinstalled my registered 5.5 standard copy and lost the free plug ins; caustics, foam, etc. Any way of finding them again?

You can call adobe and they'll send you a link to download them again..that is if your copy is legit. If it's not, you can find them on p2p programs..for educational use only of course. Good luck.

After weaving my way through Adobe's maze of elusive 'support' pages I found the plug in page for my tired old 5.5 copy. Once there, I was again blocked by the fact that, years earlier when the program was purchased, a member of our company also had her own company and registered the program there, rather than here, making it an even greater challenge since she is no longer part of the 'here' company. Undaunted, I pressed ahead and, after the promise of lunch and the betrayal of company secrets, she agreed to relinquish her hold on the registrations, thereby enabling me to download my beloved freebies from the Goliath Adobe.

One day, when the money fairies land or my work improves sufficiently to attract real customers, we will upgrade software and hardware, bringing our company into the new world order of computing.

Thank you for your input. I'll keep an eye out for those 'educational' bargains at Wally World and Home Depot...
