Plug-in Compatability Question

I have Adobe Premiere 6.02 and a friend of mine has Adobe After Effects. He has a few plugins that he was going to sell me. Can After Effects plugins work with Adobe Premiere? I know Premiere is supposed to be the more robust product (well I assume anyway based upon the cost difference) so are they "upward" compatible to Premiere so to speak? I am not sure the few plugins I would buy say one way or the other.

..short answer: probably not . AE is more advanced than premiere.. espescially the non pro versons of premiere. ie:versions 6.0-6.5.

if you had Premiere PRO 1.5 , nearly all of the 2D plugins from AE work in it. and visa versa. but AE has alot still of plugins that are 3D, and some that require other functionality that PPro does not support.
