PLEASE! Need help fixing audio, DUE TODAY!

I edited a project with about 45-50 short clips, then deleted teh audi track because I was told we didn't need it. Well, client wants the audio back but I saved over my earlier version.

Is there a way to get Vegas to bring back the audio for the clips automatically and sync them?

I had the same problem last year with a big project; ended up downloading and buying the plug-in Excalibur, which has a "find Orphan" function that re-links audio. Choose the select tool, highlight all the video clips, and press the "find Orphan" key in Excalibur and all the original audio will be replaced. Excalibur also has a nice multi-cam plug in and great tech support. I wholeheartedly recommend it.
 
also on the VASST site there is a free script that will restore audio (not sure but i think it does one clip at a time?? ) to clips


or

you right click on your clip in TL and choose "create subclip" ( creates a exact copy of what is in TL ) ..wait a second while it creates subclip ... then right click on same clip again and choose OPEN in Trimmer .. now in trimmer will be video and audio track - you drag that up to TL under video with no audio - line up heads and it will be exact length = you now have video and audio in TL
