please help_ slowmo ?

I am shooting tonight a scene that requires slow motion at 50% in post, whats the best way to shoot this.
I am shooting at 24p. editing on a dv ntsc timeline i guess at 29.97 the final product is going on DVD.

Also I will have to sync music to it I already prep the audio to shoot it double speed.
it is a music video.

Well, with a DVX the best way would be to shoot in 60i, and then interpolate it at 30p in After Effects. you lose half your resolution, but the motion will be silky smooth. That's my suggestion. Peace.
