Okay am sorry i tried searching and am sure the answer is there but i need to know as soon as possible so i dont have the time to search and it will be easier to ask...

Okay so i just filmed my first thing with the dvx it is pal

and i was succesful capturing the footage in 25p but i just cant seem to figure out how to set my final cut for capturing footage which i filmed in scene file 1 ... when i preview the footage is glitchi but when i capture it seems allright but than it seems that it is being converted to 25 when i put it into the sequence which is set to 25..

Please i know it is probably some stupid stuff but help asap thank you
 
The capture preview window is just for reference, your footage does not look that bad or skippy. But what I don't get is that you filmed in 25p, so your footage is 25fps...PAL standard...and you say that it is CONVERTED to 25 when you put it into a sequence that is set to 25? I don't get it...the only number you say is 25, so all should be good. You filmed 25...the sequence is 25...something wrong with that?
 
thank you ya i know what you are talking about now and i was confused because i thought that i was not shooting 25fps just because it was on scene file 1 which is not progressive not realizing the pal standard is 25fps but the preview is actually pretty skippy but w.e after i capture the footage seems allright thanx anyway
