Hey everyone, so I am writing a paper for new york university on the differences in film with intrinsic/extrinsic motivation.
just to clarify and define...
intrinsic: where the motivation is derived purely from the enjoyment of an activity
extrinsic: where external factors motivate pursuing an activity: example, money, contracts, fame, prestige, etc.
so if you guys would answer a couple of questions honestly i would be very thankful...
1) Do you notice any differences in the satisfaction you feel towards a piece when you pursue a project intrinsically motivated?
2) How do extrinsic factors effect your project in relation to: a) process(timeframe) b)effort put into the project c) feeling of final product
3) Do you feel you produce more self satisfying work when motivated intrinsically or extrinsically and please elaborate on why.
