Please Help With MovieBox DV...

I just got MovieBox DV so that I could hook my G5 through Firewire to the MovieBox and then output that through a component cable to a monitor (apparently its PAL). Anyway the problem I am having is that when I do playback instead of fluid video, it just shows a picture of the playback, unless I move frame by frame it doesnt move, when playing back it freezes on the first picture.

Does anyone have any idea on what is causing this, and how to remedy it?

i have a moviebox dv I got with Pinnacle liquid 5.5 The damn thing never did work right. I had hooked up a little 10 inch monitor and the picture kept "breathing" in different color tones. I hooked up the monitor to an old digital 8 Sony handicam, -BNC to RCA with an adapter, and used the firewire from the camera to the computer, and it works like a charm.It didnt matter if I was using Liquid or Vegas, same problem with the moviebox. I have since scrapped Liquid and use Vegas for everything.I probably didnt solve your problem, but I am now using moviebox dv as a door stop.
