Hey now
I'm a new member. I just ordered the Mac Pro, dual quad core, ati card, 30" monitor, 500 gig system drive, Studio 2, AFX & Photoshop CS3.
It arrives in 3 days.
When it arrives I will be adding:
* 8 gigs of transitInt memory
* 3 internal sata drives raid0-not purchased yet
I've migrated over from 20 years of PC's. I own 2, Matrox rtx100 systems & really into speed.
QUESTION: I was gonna wait for the WD RE2 750gig drives to become available & buy 3 to raid. BUT I'm wondering what you guys would recommend for a 3 drive internal apple software raid that would be available now. I backup to external drives manually.
I do DV, HDV, DVCAM HD
