Hi guys. I have searched this entire forum for info on building your own 35 adapter. And I am thoroughly confused. I understand the concept, and basically know what is needed, but there are no forum topics that actually give directions on how to build one.
I have a Pentax 35mm screwmount lens, and a cheap video camera. I want to be able to hook up the lens to my camera. Apparently, I need a macro filter, empty space, and a ground glass / or whatever you would like to call it, not necessarily glass.
My camera has a 27mm thread on the lens so I will need to buy a step up (or down, I don't know.)
What kind of gg (or whatever works) should I use, and how can I find one that is in the shape of a filter? That is NUMBER 1 on my list, how to find a filter gg.
What kind of filter works? 10x?
What kind of stuff should I use to space the materials? PVC Pipe? If I do use PVC pipe, should I use super glue or a hot glue gun to glue it all together? Anything else? I DON'T WANT A SPINNING GG EITHER! Mainly because I am too broke to afford a spinning ground glass.
Please, if anyone has any suggestions, instructions, additions, please reply.
Thanks.
