Please help w Slow mo situation

I am shooting tonight and i am going to do a scene that i will slow it down to 50percent in the edit how should i shoot this so it looks the best?

is the regular shoot 24p? or 30p? or 60I. anyway .. first choice, id shoot 60I with a slightly fatster shutter speed than normal .. like 1/80 or 1/100 and then do a field blending or de-interlacing in post for use in a 50% slowdown. .... alternatively you could shoot 30p and use a field blending or motion interpolation software.
 
Ok i got lost, I am shooting the rest of the video in 24p, field blending ? Motion interpolation? can u explain a bit more

using final cut pro and is a music video i already prep the audio to play at double speed so i can sync it later.
