Here is a summary:
Setup:
PC is P4(not dual core).
Inbuilt graphics and sound.
Firewire card
Handheld camcorder connected to fire wire port
Audio coming through a mixer then to PC
Split Cam software installed.
Using Cisco’s WebEx conferencing software
Problem: Audio and video are not in sync.
What ive tried:
Setting the settings to low res or high, and different frame rates combinations did not work.
In the webex settings we changed the video source type, from split cam to microsoft dv. Tried setting to PAL_B and any other type.
Tried getting audio from camcorder instead of micchrophone.
Questions:
I believe it’s the computer not encoding it correctly, or not encoding it quick enough. I cant tell what it is encoding it as.
Is it software? Which software ?
Do I need hardware encoding ? If so what hardware video capture device ? What specs should I be looking for?
Something else im missing ?
Any help would be much appreciated guys!
