Having more problems with adobe!! I tried the cloning or twin effect just a few moments ago to find that when I save it to an avi file, it flickers really badly!!!

I was also having troubles with reversing footage see here: http://dvxuser.com/V6/showthread.php?t=147585
(My preferences and settings for adobe are there too)

Hi,

I'm guessing that you have a field reversal order problem. Try selecting the clip in the timeline, then Clip>Video Options>Field Options>Check Reverse Field Dominance. You might try checking some of the Processing options, too.

Good luck!

Mike

When you film in the same area and then cut, place footage on top of one another and then crop- to make it look as if there are twins. Kinda hard to explain.

Whatdya mean my original footage? File? I'm not sure... don't have the particular laptop with me at the moment. Basic file type that's compatible with windows media player.

1. the frame rate and frame order of your original footage file matters when compositing.
2. every file type (and codec) is compatible with windows media player.

Original Footage = what was it shot with or where did you get it from or what is the file extension? Anyone offering help needs to know basic information such as this.

If its "hard to explain"..how do you imagine we can understand what you are asking advice on?

BTW: "Cloning" - I am guessing that you may be talking about keying?

I advise you learn some film and editing terminology so that you can get the assistance you obviously need. (Do not be discouraged - everyone starts somewhere)
