PLEASE HELP!! Pan-Zoom Images gets cut off

Hello

I'm trying to pan & zoom images in Vegas. When I replay them (720 X 480 )
There is a black bar on top and bottom. Basicall the full 720 X 480 is Not showing - IS it becuse the output is Full Safe to fit excactky 720 X 480 ? Can this be changed? How?

Please help - This is driving me insane ..

if the whole pic is showing but is 'squashed', even when you zoom in, then open Event Pan/Crop, right click and click Match Output Aspect

Basically, no matter how large the image size is - it seems vegas create a 720 X 480 out put - after I render the image the output is 720 & 480 and the rest is black around the edges
 
Your display properties in Vegas are based on what your project properties are set at - if you're set for DV 720x480, then you're working in that environment - anything you bring into Vegas will be sized to fit vertically in the preview window, regardless of the image or media aspect ratio - match output aspect just takes the images and conforms them to the aspect ratio of your project - if there are still slight black edges, you can drag the pan / crop window in a bit and crop that portion of the image
