Please Help mic Mount !

Hey,
I have a good shotgun mic and rycote wind jammer (furry) and I guess
my dvx didn't come the basic mount to attach it to the camera. I need that
little piece of plastic that holds the shotgun mic on the camera

Couldnt find it on B&H

Where can I get this ?

the furry is going to be in the way of the lens with the stock camera mount. Get the rode sm3 shoe mount and you should be fine.

Depending on the camera - you need a Rycote Softie mount CCA or a Rycote Multimount II.

That stock mic mount is actually two (expensive) little parts (don't have the part #'s handy at present, but can get 'em for you if you want)

With a windjammer on the mic, it will show up in your shot, no matter what

For what you have to pay for the parts, it'll run you about as much as a Rode shockmount anyway, and the shockmount will help cut out camera handling as well as motor noise too - it's your best bet.
