I have two external thunderbolt drives for my MacBook Pro. One is 7200rpm and the other is only 5400.
Currently, I have my raw footage stored on the 7200rpm and the scratch disks set at the 5400rpm. Short of getting another 7200rpm drive, is this the best setup?
I don't mind waiting longer to render b/c I can always step away and come back later. I'm mostly just looking for the optimal setup for editing my footage with as little
hangups as possible during playback.
Thank you,
Ian
