Please help me with DVD-A Menu Buttons!

Ok, so I have read what Sony has on making masks and all that jazz for menu buttons and I am still really confused. I actually don't know if what I want to do is even possible but here it is. I do everything in Photoshop.

As an example, lets say I have a bunch of links on the menu to various media and other menus. So I make a button in PS and this is what it looks like:

Now, when you navigate to that button, I want it too look like this:

Lets say I want the boxers to be the "selection designator" for everything. How do I accomplish this? Thanks guys for any help, I would really appreciate it!

William,

What you're asking for with the colored boxers is more akin to a web nav button as opposed to highlight masks which are more common with DVD authoring. What you can end up doing though is creating a "boxer-ish" mask image. No internal detail, only a mask shape. It's pretty easy to do once you get the hang of it. - PM me your email and I'll send a sample project over that will help you see exactly what you need to do. It's a pretty kickin' process once you understand.
