Please help me keep audio and video together

Apologies for amatuer questions-

Please can someonee tell me how to chop one 20 min captured clip into smaller divided clips that i can then delete, move around, and trim together while keeping video and audio locked together for the trimming process

Use the ‘S’ key to split the events after you’ve placed them on the timeline and make sure the Ignore Event Grouping is OFF (which is the default anyway) and your audio and video will stay grouped together as you edit.
