Audigy2 Platinum. 6.1 surround card. Dated now. The new ones are 7.1 and have DTS.

Actually, that picture's dated. I have the Pioneer A07 DVD burner now, in place of the CD writer.

I have the exact same Audigy drive without the 2 on it and as I was telling Spider earlier, my only ***** is that it doesn't hav balanced XLR inputs. It's a sweet unit though and puts an end to always having to fish around in a sea of cables deep down the back in the bowels of your system to find that cable coming from the headphones or mic or what have you. Do you use the spidif ports at all David?

Again, no real reason. Volume control is exclusively done in my speakers, and there's a separate remote for that.
