Please help! Annoying setting that I would like to turn off!

Anybody else very annoyed with the "snap" when adjusting effects in premiere? For instance, applying brightness and contrast to a clip and adjusting the levels.. When I click on the brightness lets say, nothing changes when I drag the mouse slowly, until I drag the mouse quickly over the slider, only then it will change. After I can move the mouse slowly to make my final adjustments. This usually results in me moving the slider to 100% when I was maybe wanting to move 3%. Im going nuts working on a project tweaking footage settings. Im using Premiere CC but Ive noticed this change since CS4. Wondering if anybody knows how to turn this setting off if there is a way?!! Much thanks!

Im assuming its got to be a setting. I can move in tiny increments too, but only after a large one first. Almost as if I have to break the slider free to use it.

Mine behaves as Shooters does as well. I don't know of any setting to change this. One thing you might try as a workaround is to hold the control key down as you begin to move the slider, that way larger movement should result in smaller increments. So you could drag a larger amount to get 1%. This could help if it does turn out to be something to do with your mouse.

I see this same behavior on my system. Sometimes you need a large jump before things start moving. There is no user setting for this.
