Pleasantville Effect PLEASE HELP!!!

Hi. My partner and i have edited our short film, which we shot in color. We are going to make it black and white, and want to know how to make certain objects appear in a different colors. We did NOT shoot behind a blue nor green screen, but i know theres a way...SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! Thank you

If the item to isolate is a specific color itself (or brightness) you may be able to key it. FCP has tools in 3 color corrector filter to limit to only a range of colors.

If that's not possible you'll probably need to roto which is hiow most of Pleasantville was done.

One thing to remember... Use the SHIFT key when selecting colors... you can select the range of color by sliding the eyedropper around.

Try Eureka Plugins version 5. They have a couple called Pleasant 4 and Pleasant 8 I think
