Plays Fuzzy after Render

I just can't figure this out. When I render the files it plays back fuzzy. It also looks fuzzy while in the project. Using
AF 6.5
PrePro 1.5
3Ghz
1G ram

im a AE newbie, but you changed quality to high right (in your layers)?

It is set to Best. But that didn't help.

what codec are you rending it out to? (animation, dv, uncompressed, etc?)

thats really weird, i had similar issues when I really didnt know AE at all, but not after I rendered things out at uncompressed...perhaps its something in the import settings?

Is the original clip fuzzy as well? What are your composition settings?

You might be having some trouble with the way the footage is being interpreted, given that it's 24p material. Try right clicking on the file you've imported and get into the "Interpret Footage" options.

Also, besides just selecting "Best" are you sure you've got the hi-res option turned on within the timeline? (next to the "motion blur" checkbox)

GREAT...

But the Video still plays at different speeds.
Speeding up and slowing down.
