I'm not sure where this should go, so now it goes here:
I've made a feature film, that now exists in a PAL format. I'm submitting it to a few American festivals, and they all require an NTSC screener. Now, while I can probably manage a conversion, it would be far simpler to just send the PAL screener I already have, and I wonder if it would really be a problem. Nowadays all tv's run 60hz, and I have no problem seeing NTSC DVD's here in Denmark. Region coding could of course be an issue, but seeing as this is my own film I'll just make Region 0.
So, does anyone know about this? Are the festival-guys just playing it safe?
