playing footage backwards on set

I have a shoot coming up that the whole action takes place backwards. Anyone can recommend how best to monitor the footage play backwards after each take to know we got what we needed. Are tehre cameras that play footage backwards, or should i just record proxies to one of the on-board recorders?

Probably an on-board recorder or system. Most cameras will just "rewind"(high speed), not play backwards in real-time.

There are a few Panasonic P2 briefcase editors on eBay for $900. Grab one of those and some P2 cards and feed it while you're shooting(if possible), then you could play it backwards in real time since it has a jog shuttle and is a full featured editor.
