I am running FCP 6.0.5 and using an Intensity Pro video card to send HD signal via HDMI to DVI into an external HD monitor. When FCP is paused, i get picture, however when I play in FCP, I don't get playback in the monitor, it remains on the single frame. When I pause again, the external monitor will update to the frame i'm paused on. My settings in the VIEW > EXTERNAL VIDEO is set to ALL FRAMES and in VIEW > VIDEO PLAYBACK is set to Intensity Pro HDTV 720p 60. Why can't I get continuous playback on my external?
