Playback issues on misc file formats on timeline

Since upgrading to FCP6 I've been having issues when using files in different formats in my timeline.

For example my timeline would be DV and I would import an animation file from After Effects that was saved in the animaton codec. Even when rendered, these files stutter on playback. What's the deal? This was a non-issue before and since FCP6 is touting it's multiformat timeline capability this seems to show me the exact opposite.

I have to go back and re-render my file in DV to make it work right...why? I never had to do this before.

Any help is great. Am I missing some box I gotta check off of something that let's me use different codecs in my timeline or something?

I had the same problem this morning. What it probably is is this.... the frame rate on your sequence is wrong. For instance the frame rate on my sequence was playing at 23:98, but needed to be playing at 29:97. I created a new sequence and it played correctly. What was odd was that it had different different formats 1080 and 720 and only the 720 was stuttering.

I'm STILL having trouble with this. My sequence settings are fine. Maybe I'll try creating a new sequence, but it's happened with more than one project...only recently though. Both 60i and 24p problems.
