Play (Loose Spot) in my Libec H60 Fluid Head - Any Way to Fix?

Hey All,

I was disappointed to find a small loose spot (about 1/8th of an inch of "play") in the tilt of my Libec H60 fluid tripod head today. Before this, I've loved the thing, and found it to have some of the smoothest movement around. Now, of course, with the loose spot, all my tilts start and/or end with a little jump as it hits the loose spot and settles into the normal smooth drag.

My question is, does anyone have any experience with fluid heads? Any general recommendations for anything I can do to try and fix this? I took out some of the exterior screws with an allen wrench and poked around, but I didn't want to go any deeper without asking here first.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give.

I have had this happen with the pan. You have to take the head apart and tighten the four interior allen bolts. That gets rid of the play in the pan. It may be the same with the tilt, but I've never had that problem - so far.
