Well,
I've been missing from the forum for a few months. We've been working hard to get something tangible up in the way of some reel footage.
So here we are in the So. Bay of L.A. Ready for work, ready for networking. I wanted this forum to be the first place we started marketing. More of a thanks and a shout out than a "HELP, I'M STUPID AND INSANE!!"
In short, this January I walked out of the cubicle and followed my bliss. Bought my twin DVX's, whom I have yet to name, and pursued every freelance gig in order to start building a new reel. This has been an endeavour 15 years in the making and we've already entered into some concrete creative and business ventures. So, go to the site. Send me an email letting me know i'm not crazy. I'm not naive, this is L.A. We're a dime a dozen right? Fact is we're not. We all do our thing and we're all unique.
PlanetZaya has a great team. Our focus is Docs and for the moment Weddings, because we love us some Bridezillas, because we can and how could you not?
Our optimism and success are much in part to the advice and products supported by you guys the DVX community. The website will always be a work in progress, as they always are. I hope everyone's quicktime is updated.
So that's that, I hope that the forum brings us great networking opportunities and we all continue to prove that creativity and passion are paramount.
VIVA LA DVXUSER.COM!! Get to work everyone and be careful out there.
