Placing sound on timeline

I have a timeline with a narration on 'Audio 1'. I then place some music on 'Audio 2'. I then place some sound fx on 'Audio 3'... I then try to place some more music on 2 and it doesn't let me... so it starts a new track...4 then 5...

Its strange... I can sometimes place a wav file on the track and other times it won't let me...

Its strange... I can sometimes place a wav file on the track and other times it won't let me...

You can only have:
- Mono audio on Mono Tracks
- Stereo audio on Stereo Tracks
- 5.1 audio on 5.1 Tracks

For example, if you are trying to place a mono file on a Stereo Track you cant, thats why PPro creates a new Mono Track for your audio. So what happens to you is normal.
